Good morning Girlfriend!!! Whaaazzzzzz Up?!!!!
You are what is up!!! You are totally the BOMB!! This is Roz, Sulai's friend in Sacramento. We met at christmas out to her house or was it Thanksgiving? Anyway - I am totally jammin' your cd "I Pledge"!!!! It is off the hook to me!!!! I was over to Sulai's yesterday helping her to clean up the house, you know that she is going to have to move and there will be a walk through on Monday, I guess by the Realtor. Anyway, she shared your cd with me. I played it on the way home. She and I had been drinking her favorite "Gamey Boujelea" (?) while I cleand up so I was a little tipsy by the time I was ready to go home. So she suggested that I play your cd on the way home. I did. And WOW!!! I HAD TO ROLL THE WINDOWS DOWN AND TURN UP THE VOLUME. I ROCKED FROM NORTH SACRAMENTO TO SOUTH SACRAMENTO!!!! IT WAS SO DARN GOOD IT MADE ME SPEED. I HAD TO SET THE CRUISE CONTROL!!!! I ALMOST MISSED MY EXIT AND WAS ON MY WAY TO LA GIRL!! I COULD HAVE DRIVEN TO LA WITH THAT BEAT!!!! I truly love the cd. I think that Howard Dean and John Kerry need to hear this!!!!!! Especially John Dean because he is kicking off the next phase of his campaign to unseat George Bush. I am totally down with sending Bush back to Crawford, Texas!!! This cd is what the young voting generation needs to rally them. Also, this gave me a flash back on a teacher I went off on because she did not do the pledge of allegiance in her kindergarten class when my child was in kindergarten. My child has learning difficulties and when he was going from pre-school to kindergarten he had a problem reciting the pledge and was very upset about it. At that time I had janitorial contracts that I did at night and would take my son with me. One particular job had a flag flying. So, he and I would practice the pledge of allegiance at 11:00 at night on the sidewalk in front of the state building so that he could get it right and be ready for kindergaraten. When September came and he started to school we, he and I were excited because he knew the pledge and could be proud in front of the class that he could say it. The b###h of a kindergarten teacher said that she did not do the pledge and that it was not necessary. I totally went off!!! I told her that she needed to leave the US and quit teaching because she was not teaching what our, Black, white, brown, yellow, green or purple kids needed to know and understand!! She was not teaching respect, authority or a reason for being in America. That starts in kindergarten with the pledge of allegience. I worked to have her removed!!!! Any way Grlfriend I will be playing this every day now for my son, who is now 14 and is in track and field. He will be listening to this along with "I Believe I Can Fly" as he practices and prepares for the "Jr. Olympics" He qualified and went last year. He did ok but it takes patients, resolve and focused action to win a gold medal. So we are on a quest for the gold. I thank you for giveing me such an inspiring song to keep us going. I also would like to explore getting this to Howard Dean. What do you think?? I would love to organize a political rally for the Democrats and just blast the hell out of this cd and get it on the radio. And I don't care what they say or what is going on in court about "Under God" Our kids need that. Get back with me or Sulai. God bless you.
