I don't know whether to call you Jean or Pepper, but my name is Yumi and we just met about an hour or so ago at Billboard Osaka after your concert with Bobby Caldwell. You told me I should write, so here I am. I really enjoyed your singing tonight, and wished I could have heard more!! I love to hear you sing, and I'm sure you could really out-sing anybody if you were given the chance.
Just wanted to quickly write you and let you know that you got some fans here in Japan, and don't you forget it. Good luck with the rest of the tour, and be good to your beautiful vocal cords! You will go much further than you've already been. Just keep on singin', girl!
