I know this reponse is very late. However, I live out of town and news travels slow. As a player I had the opportunity to have some of the best coaches in the country. Bob Scott may have been the best coach that I have ever had. He had the ability to break down an opponent after only a few minutes. We won the regionals in 1992 because Bob went and watched our opponents. He gave us the most detailed scouting report i have ever received after just watching a few games. I remember being 14 and thinking I was a good player, Bob played against us at Manor 5 v 1 ( Josh Salsi, Ryan Wilson, Mike Rugh, Neal Mechling and me) we did not stand a chance. Bob in his fifties was better than us playing at what we thought was a high level. I coach several teams now and every day I share the wisdom of Bob Scott.
