Hi
We have a painting, which we bought in Newquay, Cornwall in 1975.
It is signed IXER in bottom right corner - printed upper case letters.
The scene is Holywell Bay near Newquay
The painting is 17" by 24" and is painted
on a very dark velvet.
The picture clearly shows the massive rocks on the beach. The sea and the sky between an opening in the clouds is painted in a distinct vivid green, which catches any light reflecting on the painting
I cannot see a bucket on the picute.
Is this painting likely to be the IXER you are writing about?
