: If they look "Cornish" then it
: could
: Mike Kerris who only signs his paintings
: KERRIS. Google his name and there is one
: example of his picture online which is of
: the same style of WM Kerr.

: My mother has 2 paintings ( a set ) by an
: artist and we are having trouble reading the
: name.
: The name looks like Kerres, Kerries or
: Kerris, but we're not sure.
: The paintings are of tall ships in a cove at
: sunset, so they are quite orangey. They were
: purchased about 25 years ago and cost quite
: a bit of money for that time.
: The nearest i can find when searching the
: internet is William Mclean Kerr and his
: paintings do look similar.
: Any help would be appreciated
: Kind regards

: My husband and I bought two pictures from this artist in 1972. One is signed "Kerris" and the other "Paul Kerris". We bought them from the artist who then had a small studio in a fishing hut on the beach at Polkerris. Both paintings are similar in colour (red, orange, yellow, black). One is of an oriental junk in the sunset and the other is obviously a small Cornish cove in the sunset. It's nice to know other people have heard of him.
