Hi Alex We note your comments on Charles Lefar. Our position is that we have a number of paintings by him dated 1966 which we purchased direct from him when he painted and exhibited from Hyde Park Corner. We have carried out some research i.e. through the Tate and various other galleries but to date are unable to find any direct details other than of course the obvious link to Terry Evans whose work of course as you know is known world wide. We have managed to establish through the Courtenay Fine art gallery in Bournemouth who is an exhibitor or Terry Evans work but it is possible that Charles Lefar spent a reasonable amount of time in and around the Brigton area this is a line we are pursuing at the moment. Clearly in the event that we learn anymore we would be pleased to let you know and perhaps you can do the same
