I stayed in the holiday cottage run by MIke and his wife a few years ago and bought on eof his paintings. - an oil of Pont. His studio is in Polkerris. His work is very popular in Cornwall. His is sometimes referred to as The Cornish Constable because of natuer and quality of his paintings.

: If they look "Cornish" then it
: could
: Mike Kerris who only signs his paintings
: KERRIS. Google his name and there is one
: example of his picture online which is of
: the same style of WM Kerr.

: My mother has 2 paintings ( a set ) by an
: artist and we are having trouble reading the
: name.
: The name looks like Kerres, Kerries or
: Kerris, but we're not sure.
: The paintings are of tall ships in a cove at
: sunset, so they are quite orangey. They were
: purchased about 25 years ago and cost quite
: a bit of money for that time.
: The nearest i can find when searching the
: internet is William Mclean Kerr and his
: paintings do look similar.
: Any help would be appreciated
: Kind regards
