: My husband was lucky enough to inherit 3
: original oils from his parents. Along with
: this was a write up on Les Lambson.
: I do know that he acquired his painting
: techniques from two sources.
: 1st Paul Bonifas (European teacher)
: 2nd Shoji Hamada (whom the Japanese
: government bestowed title of National Living
: Treasure).
: Les was born in Big Lost River Valley, Idaho
: in 1921. He served in the Navy in World War
: II.
: He had several degrees in fine arts, art
: education and psychology. He also was a
: member of the faculities of California
: Western University.
: As far as appraisals--- Make sure you are
: going to a reputable appraiser.
: I can email copies of this article if anyone
: would like it. It most definitely will help
: in appraisal.

: My wife and I were the winning bidders of a
: beautiful Les Lambson original oil at a
: charity auction. We aren't having a lot of
: luck finding out his history. Any
: suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Could you please send me a copy of the article you
have on Les Lambson? My family were great friends
of Les, Marge, Alauna and Troy. I continued a friendship of my own with Les as I grew into adulthood. I lost touch with him when he moved
to Visalia. I would like to know what caused his death and when he died. My e-mail is stephani.estep@hotmail.com
thank you,
