Hello again,
I just posted a message here in which I noted that Les Lambson was my fourth grade teacher at Clyde Hill Elementary in 1955. I just checked out the bio mentioned here, and there was a picture. Phew! The same man.
My little contribution is that somewhere in storage I have the class picture of our fourth grade class with Mr. Lambson's photo there also.
Anyone wishing to contact me can do so at binkerton2000@yahoo.com.
That biography is an emotional bit of memory for me today. Mr. Lambson must have been studying at the UW with Paul Bonifas while teaching at Clyde Hill Elementary. Mr. Lambson also did quite a few ceramic pieces, and I recollect a turquoise piece that was something like a flying saucer in shape, though perhaps not in intent. We all did some ceramic work that year back in 1955. I made a green ashtray that showed ... I had no talent whatsoever as an artist.
Yours, Larry Parr, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
