Don was my father. Born Benjamin Donovan Blisard on Feb 22, 1919 in Gainsville. MO and died March 21, 1989. He painted for several large companies- Donald Art Co. and one owned by a Frank Tournabean that I can't recall the name to name a couple, mainly in the 70's and 80's. Had a long running series of calendar prints for the Thos. D. Murphy Co. in Red Oak, IA. Also had a set of 4 season paintings reproduced by Milton-Bradley for puzzles in the 70's.
