i have 2 standarbred geldings in Apple Valley, Ca. one is a huge draftish 16.3h bay named Garth , and 17.0h elegant bay named Scooter. Both have been saddled , but no ridden outside the roundpen. it would not take long ( 30 days ) to train either one. Both are sweet natured, garth being the calmist one, and scooter being still babyish. Both are rescues from the track. Garth is $1200, and Scooter is $2000.
