We are looking for a west coast STB to adopt for driving and riding. I am a retired farrier/trainer. Preferably an easy going gelding that has been under saddle between the ages of 4 and 15 and not more than 15 or 15.1 hands. We live in eastern Oregon and have 5 acres. I have a 2-1/2 year old Qtr/Fjord cross and my daughter keeps her paint mare here. We have individual paddocks that are 60 feet square with three sided shelters. My wife is a middle age beginner rider. I don't mind training a horse for her but putting two greenies together would not be practical or safe. We belong to the local carriage club.
