I waqnt to adopt a driving horse. A quiet retired standardbred that would love a family home where it would get lots of love and attention and go for a Sunday drive every once in a while. That is what we are seeking. We have a little farm in the Willamette valley in Oregon. A CA adoption makes the most sense for us. We have experience, pasture, box stalls and good green grass. We are fanced and cross fenced with a large outdoor riding arena. We have horsey neighbors but non of our own right now. I would love a gentle horse that I can lead my grandkids around on and that can takes for crriage rides. I prefer the barefoot trip but can easily get a regular farrier.
