Sadly my husband and I are selling/ finding excellent homes for our horses, as we are moving to Texas and will not be able to take them along. Our big guy is Udin, AKA Rebar Hanover. We adopted him from his previous owner about 4y ago from the sacramento race track. he came off the track with bowed tendons. Udin has been a fantasic horse, and beautiful to boot ! He is about 9y old, black/bay w/ a white star. Udie is about 15.3 + h, sound and has never had a colic problem. He thinks he is still a Star, and demands attention, which is a big reason why we are finding him a new home... we have hardley any time for this great boy. He ties, loads, leads, trims, shoes, blankets, bathes, clips, etc. Great Ground manners. Is a little rusty , since he has only been ridden about 3-4 times in the last 5 months. We only use him for trails, but he would be a great english/ western horse, just probably no jumping. he loves the ladies, and has 3 mares he is close to. very social, and sometimes sleeps with a chicken ( really !!! )
he is looking for the most excellent home, where he will get the attention he deserves. There will be a adoption questionarre too, and his previous owner will know his whereabouts as well, as they care about him and would like to know he is forever safe.
He is located in Lucerne valley, just outside of Apple Valley, in San bernardino county. he is current on WNV and is getting a trim in 2 weeks.
