Coach Carl and Coach Casey, great comments. I wholeheartedly agree, and as usual, we all need to promote the activities of the OGBCA more and more.
Both of you guys can help greatly, because of your youth and personalities, and the fact that you are both well-thought of in your particular areas. Keep working hard to promote the clinics and the All-State weekend. Coaches who do not attend have no idea what they're missing!
I was disappointed, however, with so many head coaches not showing up to stand with their players. I know gas prices are high, and people have family commitments that often get in the way, but I personally can't understand how you don't WANT to be there standing with that player who gave you four years of pure joy as a player and helped make you a better coach!
I know that most of the girls, across the board, and even from opposing teams, had more fun as a group perhaps than in recent memory! All of them that I have spoken to had a blast and loved being around the rest of the girls.
