BARN CATS AVAILABLE!! THEY NEED BARN HOMES ASAP!!
These are the “forgotten” cats in our society. We are reaching out to give them a second chance to have a happy life. Cats are placed in cages at the barn site for an adjustment period of two weeks to one month. While caged, they become familiar with the sights, sounds, and smells of their new environment. Supporting a barn cat is the safest way to control the rodent population in your barn. There are no poisons for children and pets to get into and no need to set nasty traps. Barn cats need safe, permanent outdoor homes with one or more areas of weather-proof shelter and a continual source of food and clean water. They thrive on rural or semi-rural properties where they can put their natural hunting abilities to good use.
All cats are fully vetted (spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations including rabies, de-wormed, and treated for fleas). Some of these cats are very human friendly and simply enjoy the outdoors, some have potty issues and are incredibly difficult to adopt out and lastly some are just feral.
