Posted by Janice on 10/8/2007, 4:45 pm She wants her pony's death to help other creatures or humans somehow instead of just burying her... She looked into donating her body for science to the WSU vet program but she would have to take her to Pullman and we live in the Seattle area and she doesn't want to subject her to a 300 mile trailer ride in her condition.. I know there is a place in Spokane called Cat Tales that takes live horses ans shoots them and feeds them to the wild cats...she really liked that idea but once again she doesn't want to make the pony travel... Does anyone know of anything on the West side of the mountains that either takes horses to use their bodies for science or feeds them to other creatures???? Her appt. to put her down is Friday...she won't delay it any longer then that but would really like to donate her instead... Any info helps....thanks!!!
My friend has to say goodbye to her 30 year old pony...her laminitis has just gotten too bad and her arthritis is crippling her....
