I am looking for a horse/pony to ride locally in Peirce County. The horse/pony, must fit the following criteria.
* Be a well schooled horse (ex show horse, old school master, etc.). I am looking to learn, and gain some more confidence, as I had an accident two years ago, which made me afraid of cantering (I fell off at that gait), and I squeeze with my legs. The old schooling horse I rode was an absolute gentleman (may have been lazy, but was willing to do what his rider want him to do), give him a cue, and a verbal, and he would do it. And no matter how hard you gripped, he remained at a slow gait/speed. I loved that horse, and it almost made me cry when I was moved to another horse. After the accident he was put into semi retirement, where only the little kids get to ride him now. The pony I currently ride, she's really sensitive to the one thing I do when I'm scared, being squeezed, than she only takes off faster, and that doesn't help one bit. So I'm looking for a horse way less sensitive than her.
* Over the age of 5.
*Breed, color, doesn't matter.
* On the scale of 1 (bombproof)-10 (very energnic, hyper, nuts), I'm looking for a horse/pony on the scale of 1-3.
*Must be able to be ridden western pleasure, or trail.
*Must be between $100-$200 per month (or barn chores?)
*Must be able to ride 2x's per week (probably monday, and friday).
*Must be healthy.
* Over 13.2 hh
*Looking to get into English,a horse that can be both ridden in western and english.
