Typically a horse w/ issues needs a different style of training then a horse that is learning a specific disipline, be it Reining, or Hunter-Hack! But, thats just my opinion... lol. Take it for what you will, as everyone here knows this IS a internet message board, never know who may be hanging around and posting.
Thats funny- I have had the exact opposite experience w/ Cathy. Knowing her personally, one-on-one... she is NOT a gamer, does not treat her horses like typicall gaming horses, nor does she ride like a gamer. Her horses are all light mouthed, and incredibly sensitive to leg cues. She will be the first to admit she is not the trainer to choose if your looking for a polished show horse, but a problem horse... can't find a better fit in a trainer!
