5 1/2 mo old pure black filly for adoption. Owner took the mare (dam) and her other horses without paying for their feed (I spent almost $1000 feeding her horses) and abandoned the foal on my property. The owner originally asked me to care for the mare and foal because supposedly something tried to kill the foal the night it was born. The injury looked more like the filly sliced herself very badly on her left hip midway between her stifle and tail. The would was a foot long but did NOT damage any muscles. It is fully healed and healed black, no white scarring. There is a wound dimple. Owner refused to let filly get stitched up by a vet so I did the best I could. Filly never showed any signs of infection and is NOT lame at all. I don't have time to work with horses any more plus I need to recoup at least some of what I spent on feeding this woman's horses so this filly is up for sale for $300 Please email for details and pics.
