I have a barn full of these wonderful hard working girls. They came to me 3 years ago just wanting to be around horses in exchange for raking and watering horses. They have all grown to be the most reliable and trusted staff here at the barn. Most of these girls can carry 2 40 pounds sacks of grain and do the work of grown men. They know ther operations of our large barn inside and out. They've learned to ride very well and in my opinion turned into excellent horsewomen. Now most of the girls own their own horse and work for their board, lessons and show coaching. Most of the horses are rescues that they have brought back and trained themselves. They have made someone's throw away horses into useful, trained and loved horses. Most of the girls come from low income families and do not have a dime to their name. I see how hard it is for them to see other horses in the barn have the extras that they cant afford. They never complain though! Im looking to help these wonderful girls out. If you have any old tack or you are cleaning your tack room out PLEASE e-mail me! I would be in your debt. There are 4 girls I am trying to help... Here is a list of what I am looking for for them.
