Heels is just trying to keep us all safe. I think he meant while not on the field, please wear a mask.
We can't even get guys to not bring beer down to the dugout or send in lineups. No matter what safety rules we put in place, people are gonna do what they want.
So, it's gonna come down to each person protecting themselves if they feel thats what they have to do. You may see guys not play if masks have to be worn or not play if they aren't worn.
The first couple weeks will tell us a lot about what's gonna happen the rest of the season.
Just please each respect each other and be nice. If we do that, everything else may just fall into place and work out.
We have a set of safety recommendations from the ASA national and state, as well as guidelines by the state and local government. The umpires agreed to them. I will post them here tommorrow. How each team and manager agrees or disagrees with them may very well determine the outcome of this season. Just my humble thoughts. Steve.
