This tourney was a total team effort, we won as a team and we lost as a team. To keep the games as close as they were each and every player had to come up big with either the bat or the glove. Ryan was exceptional at shortstop, Jason did not miss a ball at third, we had about a half dozen outfield assists to go with the close to dozen double plays turned in the infield. Many of the double plays turned were scooped by Tim at first giving Ryan and I more confidence to just let loose on the turns. Scott and Albert pitched great and Albert came up big by playing a few games at first for us. Chip had 3 go ahead RBI's in the 6th inning or later which won a few games for us. Will and Dave, you guys did an amazing job of making sure everyone stayed up and got their playing time. Tony was clutch as usual with the bat.
Unfortunately, great defense can only win you games when they hit the ball in your direction. Razorbacks just peppered us in the final 2 games to take the title. We fought to the end but just couldn't string enough hits together. VERY proud to be part of the team this weekend. Hurting this morning after playing until close to 11 last night.
