Thank You Andy. Heels came over my house yesterday. Next year will be totally different. it has to be or else this league will remain stale. We were thinking of A1-A2 and B1-B2 and have 4 seperate champs. just have to determine the divisions. Obviously if the 4 A teams come back, they'll be an A1, instead of saying this team is better than that, we let the standings decide the A2, top-? teams in B. then the rest of the B and top of C is B1, then the rest of C teams will be B2.
Or we can leave the A teams as is and somehow try to incorp the A vs B, but if that can't be done and the way it went this year, it won't be done. Maybe ... just maybe we can talk to the top teams in Linfield to see if they want to play hone and away DHs with the Norristown A teams. Norristown A would go up there to play a DH and if the Linfield teams want to come down to this jungle to play a DH ... nobody has even talked tot he Linfield teams about this yet, so just throwing it out there and before you guys start to go nuts, I do know that some of the Linfield teams have a lot of Norristown guys on it. So a lot lf the logistics must be ironed out. play by our rules here and their rules up there. Think about it. I know the Outlaws, Spikes and Spring-Ford all have mostly guys from up there and I know Railroad has a lot of guys that play both ... just a suggestion- don't cricify me, just trying to help. Heels and the late great Tony Chiccino had all things set up back in the 1980's for a great Inter-Boro League between Norristown and Bridgeport. And then sadly Mr Chiccino passed away.
But we all agree that something monumental has to occur to keep interest in this league. Heels says the A games are quieter then funerals.
