After 2 hard fought games by both teams, Altomare Precast edged Chor to win the Class D tournament. Props to Chor for being a tough team to beat all weekend and staying in the winners bracket all the way to the finals. I'm not sure of the overall standings after that.
There was a ton of highlights from this weekend, probably too many to list. I'm sure SD or Heels will do that later. MVP for the tournament for Altomare was Ryan Parfitt, who probably singlehandedly saved the "if" game for us by stealing a 3 run HR from Chor and making so many other great defensive plays during the weekend.
Thanks to Heels for keeping the field in decent shape, especially after the downpour on Friday night. It ended up being a great weekend to play ball.
