King of useless information
I was talking to Ivo this morning and he told me that Jamie's dad passed away about 10 days ago. he said it was a combination of cancer and emphasemia(sp.), but ended up being much more sudden that expected.
Jamie, I apologize, I didn't see it in the paper or didn't know or else I would have put something up. I know you have a close family and you have been a good guy, friend and teammate since back when I met you playing with Sal's Pizza (I'm going way back now). But, I just wanted to say I am thinking about you and I hope you have the strength to make it through this tough time. I hope all the guys out here that know Jamie say a prayer for him and his family. I know he has a tough exterior (And I say that in a good sense, meaning he was an all-state wrestler who doesn't take crap from anybody), but underneath is a sensitive and caring guy who values friendship more than anybody knows.
