I think managers selections are certainly the best way to go about choosing the All-Stars. Only they know the stats on their team and how well they have played throughout the season.
I am a bit humbled that you think I should be on the team, but the truth of the matter is that I had a really bad year at the plate. I was inconsistent at best, having a streak of 5 games where I went 1-4, which is unacceptable in this game.
If anyone has been left off the list, it is by their own managers doing and that makes it an internal problem not a league wide one. There may have been other reasons for players being off the list as well. Maybe the manager asked them to be on the team but they had prior commitments.
All in all I think the team assembled will do very well against the "B" guys (who prolly had a bigger talent pool to pull from). It's like a single A school going against a 3A school. Which doesn't mean they'll get killed but it will be an uphill battle.
Should be a great game and I wish I could make it down whenever it is.

Thanks for taking the inititive and putting this team together. It is something that has been talked about a lot and is finally coming to fruition. Good Luck.
