Matt,
I think for some of us, we look forward to tournaments and just use the league games as a way to get practice for those tournaments. Be honest, wouldn't you rather play tournaments? I know I would. League games are more for a night of hanging out with the guys. I still hate to lose. I also think it's harder to get into league games because we've all been playing with or against each for so long.
