The Dice Man says eeeewwwwwwww
It is my feeling that now more than ever teams/players are not making the complete commitment to the Norristown league because it is not as fun as it used to be. The games lack intensity and for the most part players are going through the motions. Teams just shrug their shoulders after a loss and say “we’ll get em next week”. This is not directed at the Tribe or Anthony’s, it is a general thing that I sense.
The greatest and most competitve league around has done a 180. Years of tradition and history have changed.
The A division is losing steam. It is sad and we need to ask ourselves why? What can we do, can we get it back? You might see 4 teams in the A next year, maybe 3. Some teams won’t play there and they have their reasons, which is totally understandable. A few teams are going to walk away and let’s ask why.
Could the managers of each A division team, Sonny T, Dimitry, Gibbons and anyone else who cares get together with Heels and have an honest open discussion about the direction of the league, and not make it an attack because Heels wont respond kindly to that and he shouldn’t have to because he really has built this to the level that it was/is today? This sounds funny coming from me because i have done my share of “complaining” on here? Most of my BS was to stimulate a board that died when you couldn’t hide behind a fake name.
Flush hard, it's a long way to the Jersey Beaches
