The "introduction" that you people underwent, how would you rate it on a scale of 1-10 for being uncomfortable (with 10 being the worst). What I mean to say is that what would have been nice for you, may not be so for some other person. Please answer this truthfully. How many people do you suspect were involved in the complaint? Were they a sizeable no. of your batch? I cannot believe that someone can frame any senior just like that... they may not have liked the "introduction" sessions...may have felt humiliated... Getting the police into the matter is serious business, that does mean that the complaints have some very bad form of ragging in it... otherwise, the college authorities would not have taken such a step... The Supreme Court guidelines do say something about the Police involvement, and you can have a look at the guidelines at read it completely... it has a couple of references to police involvement.
