i facilitated a fatwa against ragging from the noted islamic institution. C.U.R.E. posted it on its website.i have recieved many mails condemning this in many ways.one says that ragging does not need the certificate of being oppsed to islam to be called a evil. it is evil not because it is against islam.it is evil per se.
some one has accused me of using poltics of fatwa.
i willonly say that my step has been understood in a wrong way.i am not going to establish that any thing will need to be anti islamic to be condemned.there are many thing which islam opposesbut they are not evil.any way that is other issue.i put fatwa because it was favouring our cause.it is so simple.no one should derive any other meaning from this step of C.U.R.E.
i think this calrification on my part will stop all this bashing about that fatwa diplomacy.we should appreciate that religious bodieas are supporting our cause. wishwa jagriti mission is also with us .now dar ululoomis the second religious body to openly come for our cause.actualy they are not being active.when we approached to them then, they calrified what is the stand of islam n the evil of ragging.noall controversy must stop.
