I was reading a news article where seven girls of NIIFT were suspended for ragging a newcomer in the hostel. The thing which shocked me was that these girls ended up ragging a girl who must be 3-4 years older than them. The raggers were second year students of fashion desingning course...where they take admission after completing their high school( +2)..But the poor victim was a first year student of knitwear designing course..where she took her admission after graduation..!!! This means bunch of hyper sexually active 18-19 year olds ragged a girl who was atleast 21-22 years old. We all thought that raggers rag because they feel that they are older ..but what can be more humiliating than being ragged by your juniors. The report said..girls used vulgar language and what not.. I think any new comer in the hostel is a potential victim..nowadays. This new generation guys and gals dont care about age and seniority anymore..
