escapism is never a solution. generations of indians are being scarred as a result of a lack of will to tackle this most repulsive practice. nothing works in our country but the stick. if this must be mercilessly wielded to end ragging then i am all for it. the moment one infringes on the human rights of someone else and, in fact, threatens his very life or mental balance, he sacrifices his own rights as an individual.
