The above statement is really far off from what happens in DIT. i was a student myself and we had some real discipline culture. not only are the faculty members themselves involved in anti ragging, the so called seniors are on their toes themselves in order to protect and help the new comers. talking about the private college issue, i believe private colleges are much more strict about ragging, i think most of the engineers would agree with me reagrdig the same. Ragging is a criminal offence and shud not b practised in any form. but to abuse uselessy a college that has set benchmarks in discipline and prevent ragging is wrong too.
