hi Bill, Your concern is valid, and a sign would never replace proper environmental management. Regarding a reference, check ASHRAE Guideline 12-2000 "Minimizing the Risk of Legionellosis Associated with Building Water Systems". Besides the drift elminator requirement, clause 7.6.5 states that cooling towers should be located away from truck bays. cheers, John
