We have a holiday home in Spain that is vacant for several months at a time. In view of what I've read about how Legionaires Disease can develop, is there any advice about whether we should we drain the boiler and refill with fresh water when we go back to the house after it has been empty for a while? Also, could the bug develop in a small airconditioning/heating unit?
I look forward to hearing from someone about this.
