Posted by Per Buch Larsen Unfortunately, I was sent to hospital after the cruise and I had to stay for 10 days due to a Legionnaires' Disease and really, I was seriously ill with this highly dangerous pneumonia. It is beyon any reasonable doubt that I got it on the ship and possibly from a Spa Pool on deck 10 under the glass roof. As my friend promissed to help me in the first days to come the hospital accepted to let me go home a few days ago. But I am looking forward to weeks - maybe a month - where I will not be able to attend my regular job. I have to fight great tiredness and other consequences from the decease. Now my case has been reported through some official channels, and the ship's name Millennium and the Celebrity Cruises Inc. have been added to this report. I need to gain more strength before I will be able to cope with all this. Should I go for a summon against the company? - and how should I identify other cases from the ship. I can tell you that I have contacted some other people who had joined a cruise with the Millennnium this summer. I do not really know what to do right now. Kind regards PS! My story is briefly that I joined a cruise with the ship Millennium from Celebrity Cruises on a 14 days Mediterranean cruise from Barcelona to Venice in the period August 14th - 28th 2004. Anayway, - the cruise was terrific!
