Over the next few weeks I shall try to form them into some logical order so they can be shared with interested members of the group. For those sufferers (past & present) who are well enough (or their carers), can I suggest keeping a daily journal of symtoms, medications, side effects, specialist visits, doctors comments, etc, also copies of all lab reports/x-rays. My notes from 2 years ago have proved invaluable to me with this new infection. I would like to thank John Herbert for encouraging me to overcome my shyness to post and both John & Diane for being so supportive.

Greetings to all.
I first joined this group 2 years ago when I contracted L. However, I was too shy and ill to make a posting back then. I was treated with E-Mycin and 'recovered' from the pneumonia. I have now been re-infected (I think) from the same unproven source at my workplace in Auckland, New Zealand.
