Posted by Jeff Silverstein I am trying to get maintenance records in order to establish whether or not the tower was being properly maintained. The City of Toronto won't release this information because of civil suit that has been launched. I work for an investigative television program called W-FIVE and am currently researching a story about the outbreak at Seven Oaks Home for the Aged in Toronto last fall. Twenty three people died in the outbreak, and Toronto Public Health identified the cooling tower as the source of the problem. It also noted that the air intake was situation close to the tower.
