I am sorry to hear about your father needing surgery at his age but be assured that he cannot catch LD from another person. That is the only good thing about this disease. I had many many family members with me in the hospital, even when I was in a coma and unaware of what was happening praying for me and by my side daily and no one became sick. You can rest easy and just be there for your Dad!!!
