Street Voice Newsletter reaches about 39000 each week through email, message boards etc. This has been achieved by people working their butts off for the love of Rock N Roll. Street Voice Newsletter reaches about 39000 each week through email, message boards etc. Now every week I get bands, labels etc contacting me after seeing the sites/newsletter and want to get involved but when push comes to shove many of the bands/labels get a tad lazy. Time after time I read interviews by bands/labels saying they don't get much support but when offered it they turn it down! Why? Maybe they want to get featured in Kerrang, Rock Sound or whatever the latest magazine is but in reality in most cases that isn't going to happen. Shelf magazines usually only feature what they consider to be 'COOL'! Street Voice, FFRUK and Punk Globe are the projects that are there to support you and will feature you and give you support. Please don't just send a link for us to listen to an MP3 - We can't visit every site to have a listen to every song. C'mon make the same effort we do like getting up off your arses and putting a disc in the post with some information about your band/label etc etc. It's that simple. Bands that support what we do include Bad Religion, Dillinger Escape Plan, The Dead Idols, Hot Water Music, Mary Prankster, The Unseen, Jello Biafra, Queen Bee, Texas Terri Bomb,Spitalfield and Demented Are Go to name but a few. Labels that support what we do include Cherry Red, Victory, TKO, Bomp, Hellcat and Epitaph. So what you waiting for? Support the people who support you! Rock On!
