We have been receiving inquiries which clamed that 'I would not use them in a commercial purpose', or 'It's just my own personal homepage'. However, we still will not give any authorization even under these conditions. The 1/1/1998 modified 'laws of copyrights' (in Japan) defined that 'the interactive message sending (i.e., sending messages via a computer)' is considered as 'automatic messages sending to the public', and 'the act that enable a computer to access the information before sending out' is considered as 'enable the sending'. Both are, therefore, the objects covered by the 'law of copyrights'. It is said in the 'law of copyrights' that a creation could be used if 'it is reproduced for personal usage'. However, 'personal usage' is defined as 'it is used by the person or within the household of the person only'. Usage of the creations on the internet is, therefore, not considered as 'personal usage' even if the page is a 'personal homepage' or is 'not for commercial usage'. In addition, Please be aware that even when ID or password is used to limit the access to the page on internet, it still exceeds the boundary of 'personal usage'. Regarding the fanfictions and fanarts: Fanfictions and fanarts of the creations by us (Sunrise) cannot be used on the internet without our authorization. When a creation is created based on another copyrighted creation, it is called a 'secondary creation'. Authorization of the author of the original creation is necessary for creating a secondary creation. In addition, in order to utilize a secondary creation, both the authorization of the author of the original creation and the authorization of the author of the secondary creation are necessary. Therefore, the usage of secondary created fanarts of Sunrise production on the internet, as we had said, would not be authorized, with some exceptions. It might be possible to introduce fanarts and/or photos of garage kits on the 'Sunrise Station' of Nifty Server (*Note: a name of a Japanese server, in which one needs to become a member to use. Personal infomation are required to become a member, and the accessing data of each individual could be traced*), but no other usage is permitted.
To say at the beginning, the owner of this page has NOTHING to do with the Sunrise company. This is only for your reference. As how one would like to utilize this knowledge is NOT of my concern.
Concerning the usage of graphics on Internet:
The exceptions are limited to companies or groups that have been authorized by us. There would be no authorization of usage for an individual. There would be no authorization even if a page is a ''Personal/Private Homepage' or 'Not for commercial usage'.
