For people who are confused about the meaning of the words within the parentheses, they are the year written in the Japanese way. In ancient times, Japanese people did not use the BC/AD systems to represent the year. They used a different system. The emperors chose a name of an era usually at the time he inherited the crown (with some exceptions).
This system is still in use (it's Heisei right now), but the Solar calender is used instead of a Lunar calender.
Japan used only Lunar Calendar at the time of Macho and Kayura. Therefore, Masho's and Kayura's official birthday are actually go by Lunar calender instead of Solar calender (the one that we are currently using). I included the Solar Calender date (converted by me) just in case.
