Oh, thanks for clarifying, I wasn't aware of that. But it makes sense anyway, since an anime season typically has either 13 or 26 episodes. Also, the narrator's comment at the end of episode 19 is already indicative that the series will continue, I suppose. But the people who started this, was it based on anything real? There's a saying that every rumor has a drop of truth in it.
I was also wondering, where did you find the air dates? I found Sunrise's page for the YST TV series (as well the pages for the OAVs), but the only info I found was the air date of the first and last episodes of the TV series.
I'm not sure how to find the YST japanese wiki page, do you have a direct link to the page that talks about this double airing incident?
