The impression I have is that he would be quiet and unassuming. I believe he would be reserved publicly until one got to "know" him and even then, he would seem a bit shy. He would never vent around people like he did in his works; his attitudes would be totally unacceptable to the majority of "the herd". But, I would give my right arm just to be in his quiet presence and experience his being!
