Hello,
I have been reading this message board, and i have recognized that your posts are those of knowledgable people. Therefore, I must ask for your assistance, and opinions. I am a student, and I am reading The Naked and the Dead by Norman Mailer, who begins one of the parts of his book with this quote "'Even the wisest among you is only a disharmony and hybird of plant and phantom. But do I bid you become phantoms or plants?' ~ Nietzsche," (431). However, I cannot decipher what this truly means to fully understand this part of the book for a research paper I must write. If I could have your opinions I would be very greatful. Thank you so much for your time and attention.
