Posted by Ferdi on 9/28/2007, 2:21 pm I know for having it read that Nietzsche dislikes Rousseau and likes Voltaire. Where does Nietzsche exactly mention Rousseau? I dont remember it anymore, and I would appreciate if someone could give me some exact references. (I think it is somewhere in Beyond good and evil, although there must other instances, too) Second question: I dont remember anymore where is that Nietzsche says more or less, that: as one of the gods had the ungodly idea that he was the only God, the gods starting laughing and died from laughter. I would very much appreciate if someone could give me the reference.

I have gotten an excellent response once on here about a question I had on some references as to the Eternal return. I hope I can get a good answer this time, too.
