I am thinking of beginning a systematic, slow reading of the Zarathustra (maybe just one section or two per week), if that would be appropriate for this message board. I found the "Common" translation on line; I can also the read German text and have 2 French translations. I have also, out of curiosity, aquired Lampert's, Rosen's, Seung's and Gooding-Williams studies of the Zarathustra, but find it more important to discover what Nietzsche's text really mean to me, to us (if others join in the discussion...)
Living in France, I am influenced by Deleuze's reading, but I think that Nietzsche must be read on his own terms, and his philosophy has become a real inspiration in my life.
Looking forward to discussing Nietzsche's most challenging philosophy,
Thomas
