Posted by Nietzsche Circle In these textual interpretation sessions on Nietzsche, we will engage in close readings of Nietzsche’s published works and also of selected texts from his Nachlass, proceeding in a chronological order. There are no prerequisites to attend these sessions; however, the following practices are encouraged: reading the scheduled text in advance; having a copy of the text during the session; being prepared to make comments and/or ask questions on the text; and focusing on the scheduled text during the session. We will address about 10-30 pages per session and will consult the original text when necessary. Admission is free for members and $5/session for others.
