I have seen and heard thhe following quote before, but I have been unable to trace it (to the point where I doubt it exists).
"Rather than cope with the unbearable loneliness of their condition, men will continue to seek their shattered God and for His sake they will love the very serpents found among His ruins."
I want to investigate the context of this passage.
